You Are The Wave
You are not just riding the wave; you ARE the wave. We don’t have to step into the flow. We are the flow. We just need to allow ourselves to be, and stop blocking our own capable and beautiful life force energy.
Out With The Old, In With The Alchemy!
Upon reflection, I’m starting to question the whole “out with the old, in with the new” concept. Perhaps you cannot truly move forward by leaving parts of your experience behind. How can you genuinely expand to the new without accounting for the sum of all of you, which naturally includes the old too?
The Nobody-ness
Sometimes we are so focused on the next moment, whether it’s something we’re dreading or something we’re looking forward to, that we easily slip out of the gift God continually gives us—the unique and magical present moment. The vortex of stillness. The point of power.
Is Healing a Myth?
The word healing connotes something broken or damaged that needs to be fixed. Is something taken away from us when we experience pain? Or is pain merely a temporary layer spread on top of our true entirety of divine essence? Is healing a myth?
The Answer and The Alchemy
“The Answer” is a winding and revelatory labyrinth of a story within a story. It’s because of the concurrent nature of creativity from different phases of my growth within the same piece of expression that I find purpose. I find (re-find) myself.
Time Travel Through Creativity
When we visit a song that’s meaningful from our past, we’re really visiting ourself from the past, aren’t we? Just think of the many beautiful benefits we can receive if we show up for ourselves with love instead of fear.
Owl Tell You a Story
The owl turned his head and looked right at me. My mascot. My muse. He stared at me with such power and grace, and it legitimately took my breath away. I looked in his intense eyes and felt the magic of the experience overwhelm me. Everything was still. All was well.
The Leaning Tower of Alchemy
In tarot, The Tower is associated with big unexpected change, and although this card’s meaning can instigate anxiety, the true alchemist knows this moment is an opportunity for liberation. A choice to change your perspective. Encouragement from Spirit to realign. Plot twist!
As Illusions Dissolve
Creativity is a boundless healing gift. The Universe loves us so much, it enjoys packaging up little clues in creative treats for us to unwrap as we move forward on our path, seeking new levels of answers.
Automatic Writing: a Dance With The Universe
There’s something special and sacred to me about writing, whether it’s with a pen or tapping on computer keys. Speaking can be powerful of course, but there is an element of magic in writing that I’ve always loved dearly.
What Is Creativity?
There’s a famous quote that goes: “Prayer is when you talk to God. Meditation is when you listen to God.” Maybe creativity is the conversation in wholeness. The give and take summed up in one extraordinary formula.
The Emerging
I wrote this shortly after returning home from a life-changing solo soul excursion in Sedona, AZ in September/October 2020. I had a profound experience in Sedona where I felt like I came into union with my heart. Amongst meditation and exploration of the majestic Sedona “vortexes,” I remembered to remember my inherent worth, and this spiritual experience was unforgettable.
